L’obiettivo del corso è fornire agli studenti gli strumenti linguistici essenziali per la comprensione, l'analisi e la produzione di testi professionali e accademici relativi a Statistica, Matematica e Informatica, nonché il consolidamento della correttezza formale e della fluenza del discorso nello sviluppo delle abilità comunicative e del linguaggio specialistico (ESP - English for Special Purposes).

PPT e dispense fornite dal docente durante il corso.

Gli studenti svilupperanno competenze relative a: lettura e analisi si testi scientifici, scrivere relazioni, - preparare e presentare PPT,
scrivere un Academic Abstract, un Reporr, un Survey.

Produzione scritta di un abstract e di PPT su database fornito durante il corso e presentazione degli stessi all'esame orale.

The course objective is to provide students with the linguistic skills to understand, analyse and produce Maths, Statistics and Computer Science academic and professional texts, emphasizing the communicative skills and the ESP competence.
